U-20 World Cup draw pits USA against Ecuador, Fiji and Slovakia
The draw took place for the FIFA U-20 World Cup which gets underway in Argentina on 20 May after the tournament was moved from Indonesia.


Following FIFA’s decision to move the U-20 World Cup competition from Indonesia to Argentina, today in Zurich, the draw was conducted approximately one month ahead of the competition that gets underway on 20 May and runs through to 11 June.

24 teams participated in the draw and six groups of four teams were composed with 16 sides progressing to the next phase of the competition in the top two teams from each group along with four of the best third placed teams.
Games will be played in Santiago del Estero, San Juan, La Plata and Mendoza.
