The draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League was made on Friday, with four fascinating ties in the offing for football fans. The great and the good of the game gathered at UEFA’s Swiss headquarters for the draw, which brought together the competition’s two most recent winners in a massive European clash.
Holders Real Madrid will play Premier League side Chelsea, who won the competition in 2020/21. Each side knocked the other out on their way to their recent triumphs and the neutrals will be awaiting eagerly for this year’s rematch.

When is Real Madrid’s next Champions League game?
The quarter-finals of the Champions League will be played across two legs, and the dates and kick-off times for Real Madrid’s Champions League quarter-final games against Chelsea have now been confirmed. Los Blancos will play the first leg at home on Wednesday 12 April 2023 (KO 12p.m. PT / 3p.m. ET) and the second leg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 18 April 2023 (KO 12p.m. PT / 3p.m. ET).
