The 2023 Gold Cup will take place in 15 stadiums in 14 cities across the US and Canada this summer with the final scheduled for 16 July in the 17th edition of the competition.

The group stage of the Concacaf 2023 Gold Cup kicks off next weekend with the USA set to open the action against Jamaica fresh from their Nations League triumph where they brushed Canada aside in a 2-0 win.

The US will be gunning for their eighth Gold Cup triumph and are the string pre-tournament favourites with arch rivals Mexico in turmoil having just sacked new coach Diego Cocca.

The USMNT reinforced their position as CONCACAF’s dominant national team on Sunday by defeating Canada to win the Nations League title for the second time running after putting three past El Tri in a one-sided semi-final clash.

As well as being the only country to have won that particular tournament, the Stars and Stripes have also won two of the last three Gold Cups and are current defending champions.

The USMNT’s 2023 Gold Cup schedule

Group A

Saturday 24 June: USMNT vs Jamaica, Soldier Field Chicago (9:30 pm ET)

Wednesday 28 June: St. Kitts and Nevis vs USMNT, CityPark, St. Louis (9:30 pm ET)

Sunday 2 June: USMNT vs Trinidad & Tobago, Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte (7:00 pm ET)

Should the US win Group A, then they would face the Group D runners-up in the Round of 16, coming second in Group A would constitute a Round of 16 clash against Group D winners with Canada and Guatemala the fancied sides in that group of four.
