Decent night for the US and plenty of positives for coach Gregg Berhalter to take from the performance. Aaronson, Weah and Haji Wright on target for the USMNT with Morocco always second best and their miserable night in Cincinnati was compounded by a late penalty miss.
The whistle sounds and it's a solid 3-0 for the US.
We'll have 4 minutes of added time
Last minute of normal time and the US are looking good for the win... 18th game without defeat at home for the US
Harit sees the target and drives a rasping effort but once again Turner is level to the challenge and saves well.
Long is back on the pitch...
Aaron Long seems to have picked up a muscular issue and may not be able to continue with just 5 minutes remaining in the game. The US have already made all six permitted substitutes.
It's the US fans now making all the noise with the infamous Icelandic Thunderclap chant ....U-S-A.... is the looped chant...
It's been a solid performance from the USMNT and plenty of positives for Gregg Berhalter. Less so for the Morocco head coach with a sub-par performance from the 'Atlas Lions'
Just over ten minutes of this international friendly remain in Cincinnati and tonight's game is set to be the first ever USA win over Morocco in their four meetings.
Hakimi replaced by Noussair Mazraoui
Amallah to take and the Standard Liege msn drills the ball off the bar
Penalty for Morocco as Rahimi is clipped ....mmm, on second viewing, not sure about that one !
McKennie comes on for Aaronson
More changes as Morocco make a series of switches:
On: En Nesyri, Rahimi, Harit and Amallah
Off: El Kaabi, Mmaee, Tissoudali and Taarabt
More changes for the US... A huge ovation for Pulisic as the captain exits the pitch
Pulisic gives the ball to Wright and the 24-year-old slots in the corner despite a fine attempt from Bono.
Pulisic to take the spot kick
Hakimi takes the Chelsea player out and gets carded (along with Bono) for his trouble. Morocco far from happy with this call.
Pulisic fouled and the ref points to the spot.
Pulisic making history
The Chelsea man nudges ahead of Landon Donovan in the scoring and assists ranking in a US shirt
Sofyan Amrabat has been excellent for Morocco tonight with the current Fiorentina man at the heart of every move forward for the North African side.
Wonderful delivery from Masina as finds the head of Tarik Tissoudali who sees his fine header well saved by Turner.
The tempo of the action has dropped considerably as tiredness starts to become a factor. More changes from both managers will be very much the tonic for the second half with a game like this an ideal opportunity to look at different players.
Two efforts from Adel Taarabt as the Benfica man sees his first shot blocked and then Turner gathers,
Actually a triple change:
On: Carter-Vickers, Wright, Scally Off: Zimmerman, Ferreira, Robinson
A double change for the USA at the break....as the second half starts
The teams slowly return to the pitch at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati.
Work ahead for Morocco as the US lead at the break
Aaronson in min 26 and Weah just six minutes later the difference between the sides. Berhalter's men started well before Morocco started to impose themselves on the game with the goals delivering a body blow to the North African outfit.
The whistle sounds and the USMNT head to the locker room at the interval 2-0 ahead.
Jesús Ferreira has a great chance to make it 3-0 but this time Bono does well and smothers the effort.
The US probe again with 2 minutes of time added at the end of the half.
Hakimi takes the free and the shot looked good but was headed behind for a corner. Ounahi picks up the ball and goes very close but his effort is inches too high. Better spell now from the men in red.
Less than five minutes left in the first half as Hakimi wins a dangerous free for Morocco just outside the US box.
Morocco seem somewhat shell shocked by the two goals in quick succession and have stopped threading together neat and quick passes.
Check out that Pulisic touch...
Immaculate control from the Chelsea player in the build-up to the opening goal tonight at the TQL Stadium.
Looking at the repeat, the Morocco keeper totally misjudged the flight of the ball. The strike from Weah was special but Bono will be disappointed with himself.
What a strike and what a goal from Weah..an absolute rocket from the Lille man as Bono gets a hand on the shot
Long (USA) is carded for pulling back El Kaabi
The control from Pulisic was majestic as he controls, checks and slides the ball to the Leeds man who slots home.Brenden Aaronson the scorer, Pulisic the creator.
Goooooool. Brenden Aaronson slots home after excelent work from Pulisic
Tempo of the game has dropped slightly with the high temperature inevitabley playing a role on the ebergy levels
Hakimi gets a clip and goes to ground in some distress after a collision with Valencia's Musah.
Weah tests Bono again and the Sevilla stopper parrys the ball back into open play after a sweet strike from the son of the famous Liberia striker George.
Great work from Morocco again as the ball falls to El Kaabi but the 28-year-old delivers a tame shot which is easy for Turner to gather.
Two great chances for Morocco as Turner is forced to save well and then Tarik Tissoudali is denied from some last gasp defending from the men in white. Morocco very much the team in the ascendency now.
Better now from Morocco as they start to ease their way into the action with Hakimi starting to look threatening on the right hand flank.
Fine strike from Weah but the Lille forward drills the ball straight at Bono.
It's been a frenetic start with a high tempo from both sides. Pulisic goes close for the US and it's Berhalter's men who have enjoyed the better start to the game
Poor from Hakimi as the PSG man makes two errors in quick succession.
Plenty of red clad Morocco fans in the stand tonight too.... It's the US fans making the noise just now but Morocco are not alone tonight in Ohio.
Free for the US but Pulisic hits the ball too close to Morocco and Sevilla stopper Bono and the visitors can build from the back.
Off we go...
All set in Cincinnati as Ismael Cornejo our ref from El Salvador concludes the final pre game protocols. The USA set to start the action....
Not a packed house at the TQL Stadium this evening with a few gaps of empty seats dotted around the ground.
The US in their traditional home kit: white shirt, dark blue shorts and white socks.
Morocco in their classic: red shirt, green shorts and red socks.
A reminder of the teams as the sides take to the TQL pitch and it's national anthem time.
