USMNT announce Gold Cup roster: which MLS players are in the US team?
It’s a packed summer of football for the team, with the Gold Cup following the Concacaf Nations League fixture against Mexico.
This summer USMNT will go in search of silverware in two competitions, looking to assert itself as the dominant force in Concacaf.
The squad is currently in training for the Nations League, but later this month they have the chance to draw level with Mexico as the time with the most Gold Cup triumphs of all time.
On Monday interim head coach BJ Callaghan announced his 23-man roster for the Concacaf Gold Cup, which is held in the United States this year. That squad includes 16 players currently playing in MLS. FC Cincinnati and Seattle Sounders are the only two teams to have more than one player in the squad, with two apiece.
