Update:

Brenden Aaronson has joined Union Berlin on a one-year loan deal from Leeds United.

The United States international will have the opportunity to play Champions League football with the Berlin outfit after they finished fourth in the Bundesliga in 2022-23.

Aaronson, 22, moves to the capital club from relegated Leeds. He joined the Elland Road side last summer for a fee in the region of $35 million from Red Bull Salzburg.

Leeds struggled last term, finishing second from bottom in the Premier League. Aaronson played 36 matches for the Yorkshire club, and the attacking midfielder scored one goal and provided three assists.
