Vlatko Andonovski’s US side will take on Wales in San Jose, California on Sunday, 9 July. It will be the first time that the two countries have faced each other in women’s soccer and will give the USWNT a chance to test themselves against European competition ahead of the tournament.

There was heartbreak for the Welsh team as Switzerland scored a last-gasp winner in the 121st minute to deny Wales a place in the tournament.
