Weston McKennie’s options as Juventus look to move USMNT midfielder on
In his brief spell at Elland Road, he played 20 games in all competitions and provided one assist as Leeds struggled under several managers.
Weston McKennie’s first season at Leeds United did not go as planned. Reports in Italy suggested that USMNT midfielder McKennie was close to joining Borussia Dortmund, however, German outlet Bild are reporting that because McKennie previously played with Schalke, he was never properly considered at Dortmund.
The report adds that the 24-year-old would also consider another move to England, despite his disappointing spell with relegated Leeds.

Juventus player
McKennie’s deal at Juventus runs until 2025 having joined the Serie A side from Schalke in 2021.
He is considered as one of the underperforming signings made by the Old Lady in recent seasons, and coach Max Allegri is reportedly not interested in keeping him at the club beyond the summer.
With Juventus looking to bolster their squad and move players on, they have reportedly offered McKennie in a swap deal to AC Milan. The move would see Juventus sign Pierre Kalulu from Milan in exchange, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Milan in talks for Pulisic
Milan are also currently working on a deal for Chelsea and USA forward Christian Pulisic. Ligue 1 club Lyon have submitted a bid worth close to $30m for the 24-year-old, but the former Dortmund man would prefer a move to San Siro.
