What is the prize money for winning the 2024/25 Champions League?
PSG and Inter are chasing a hefty financial bonus. UEFA has increased the economic rewards in the new tournament format.

The 2024-25 Champions League final is here. This season’s competition has distributed more money than ever before. UEFA revamped the format and significantly boosted the prize pool—roughly €400 million more than the previous edition. That’s a serious payday for some.
A win in today’s final comes with a serious cash reward: €25 million, plus the eternal glory of lifting the Champions League trophy under the new format. For PSG—still chasing their first European title—that figure carries even more weight. And there’s more at stake than just the trophy: the winner also qualifies for the UEFA Super Cup (August 13 in Udine, where Tottenham await), the Intercontinental Cup, and the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup. The top prize used to be €20 million. Now it’s €25M. The runner-up doesn’t walk away empty-handed either, pocketing €15 million.
PSG and Inter have plenty to play for at Munich’s Allianz Arena.
French and Italian clubs are reaping the biggest rewards from this season’s Champions League. Inter is currently the only team to have surpassed €100M ($113.67M) in total earnings from the competition. PSG isn’t far behind, with €93.17M ($105.28M). Barcelona sits in third with €82.65M ($93.39M), and Real Madrid ranks seventh with €62.27M ($70.37M).
Those totals are set to rise sharply for all clubs involved. On top of the fixed $21M for qualifying for the league phase and performance-based bonuses throughout the tournament, there’s also the “value pillar”—to be confirmed once the competition ends—which could add another $22.6M to $34M depending on the club. A resounding financial success, especially for finalists PSG and Inter.
