When are the 2023/24 Premier League fixtures announced, when does the season start?

The Premier League have published the schedule for the upcoming season and we’ve got the full fixture list here on AS USA.

The Premier League fixture list for the 2023/24 season was published at 4 a.m. ET on Thursday, 15 June 2023. Check out the full fixture list in our Premier League section.

The season gets underway with a dream tie for newly promoted Burnley who host champions Manchester City on Friday 11 August, with kick-off at 3 p.m. ET

Manchester City are defending their 2022/23 title, their third in a row, while Sheffield United and Luton are the other two teams joining the top flight after being promoted.

This season the fixture list returns to normal after last season’s break for the World Cup in Qatar, won by Messi’s Argentina.

When does the Premier League 2023/24 season start

The Premier League gets underway on August 11, 2023, with the final matches being played on May 19, 2024.

Note that the transfer window slams shut on Friday, September 1, at 6 p.m. ET.

Is there a mid-season break for the Premier League 2023/24 season

There is indeed a small mid-season break in the 2023/24 season, with no games scheduled between January 14 and January 29.

The Champions League starts on September 19, with the first six match days being played through to December 13.
