When did Real Madrid and Barcelona last meet in Copa?

This will be the teams’ first Copa meeting since they clashed in the semi-finals of the 2018/19 campaign. Barça were 4-1 aggregate winners over Los Blancos, a 3-0 second-leg victory in the Spanish capital sending the Blaugrana into the final, which they lost to Valencia.

Barça, who last lifted the Copa in 2021, are seeking to win Spain’s domestic cup for a record 32nd occasion.

Madrid, meanwhile, are bidding to secure the trophy for the 20th time in their history. The Spanish and European champions’ most recent Copa triumph came when Gareth Bale’s stunning solo goal earned a 2-1 victory over Barça in the 2014 final.
