When does Liga MX resume? Clausura 2026 restart schedule
Before the Clausura 2026 regular season can reach its conclusion, club soccer takes a break for the FIFA international window.
Next week, there will be no action in the Liga MX’s Clausura 2026 tournament, as the Mexican national team will be taking part in two FIFA international‑window matches. On March 28 at Estadio Banorte, Javier Aguirre’s men will face Portugal, and three days later, they’ll head to the United States to take on Belgium. As a result, domestic league play will pause for the weekend.
When does the Clausura 2026 restart?
Liga MX play will resume on April 3, when Clausura 2026 matchday 13 sees clubs such as Chivas Guadalajara, Cruz Azul and Toluca continue their push for the regular-season top spot. Several players will return for the next slate of games eager to secure a spot on Mexico’s roster for the 2026 World Cup. Other teams, like Club América, Monterrey and Pumas, will look to respond and position themselves as potential dark‑horse contenders as the tournament enters its final stretch.
