COPA AMÉRICA
When is Argentina - Canada? Times, how to watch on TV, stream online | Copa América
Everything you need to know to watch Argentina take on Canada in the Copa América 2024 semifinals at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Lionel Messi’s Argentina are two wins away from retaining the Copa América, which they won for the first time in 28 years in Brazil in 2021. The reigning World Cup holders will take on Canada at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in the semifinals of the 2024 tournament and are strong favourites to progress to the final.
Canada have reached the last four in their first ever appearance in the tournament, although they have won only one of their four matches in 90 minutes, needing a penalty shootout to get past Venezuela in the quarterfinals.
Argentina surprisingly also required spot-kicks to defeat Ecuador in the last eight, with Messi’s miss from 12 yards not proving costly. La Albiceleste’s run includes a 2-0 win over the Canadians in the opening game.
