One of the most interesting soccer events on American soil is about to start, as the 2024 Leagues Cup is back with the best MLS and Liga MX clubs.

The current champions Inter Miami will be looking to defend their trophy and repeat their 2023 success, with Lionel Messi expected to return with The Herons soon after injuring his ankle in the first half of the Copa América final against Colombia.

The participants will be fighting to go all the way in the event. All of them will be divided into eight groups in the West and seven in the East, with three sides in every section. The best will then advance to the knockout stages format.
