FIFA will announce the stadiums that will host the tournament in the United States and the day of the draw at a mega-event in Central Park, New York.

FIFA announced that it will announce the host cities in the United States for the 2025 Club World Cup on Saturday 28 September 2024 in New York, as well as revealing the date on which the tournament draw will be held. The mega-event will take place in Central Park in front of 60,000 people, as part of the Global Citizen Festival, and will almost definitively settle any controversy over the future of the competition.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino will take part in the event to announce the stadiums for the new Super World Cup, which will now take place every four years instead of annually and will be contested by 32 clubs. The event will start at 5:50 p.m. ET / 2:50 p.m. PT. Also present will be Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen, along with other special guests.

Which US stadiums could be selected to host 2025 Club World Cup games?

FIFA plans to announce eight North American cities which will host the 2025 Club World Cup. From what we have been able to gather from recent reports, these are likely to be: Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Jersey (2), Pasadena and Seattle. The intention is to have the new Club World Cup games played in existing MLS or NFL venues.

The identities of eight possible venues have emerged: Lumen Field (Seattle), the Rose Bowl (Pasadena), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens), Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando), MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford), Red Bull Arena (Harrison) along with an undisclosed venue in Philadelphia - possibly Subaru Park or Lincoln Financial Field.

The 2025 Club World Cup will start on Sunday 15 June 2025 and reach its conclusion with the final on Sunday 13 July 2025. A total of 32 teams will be taking part, of which 30 have already qualified: Real Madrid, Atlético, Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern, Dortmund, PSG, Juve, Inter, Porto, Benfica, Salzburg, Al Hilal, Al Ain, Urawa, Ulsan, Al Ahly, Wydad, Esperance, Mamelodi, León, Rayados, Pachuca, Seattle, Palmeiras, Fluminense, Flamengo, Boca, River and Auckland.
