When will the new Atlas facilities be completed?

The new academy is beginning to take shape, built on seven hectares and there the men’s and women’s teams will train.

Both the male and female teams of Atlas visited the new academy, which is slowly taking shape. The Rojinegra leadership decided to make a big investment to have facilities where all teams, both from the First Division and lower categories, can come together to work. The project impressed the footballers.

A new future for Atlas

“The truth is that one thing was to imagine it and today that we could see all the progress, it really is impressive. It will be very important for growth, and the club deserved it,” said Atlas central defender Martín Nervo, who has already been a champion twice with the team and is now part of the club’s history.

“I think this is the culmination of everything that Grupo Orlegi has been doing very well. This is the icing on the cake and it is what we all need to be together, that sense of belonging that is sometimes missing because we are a bit separated,” said goalkeeper Ana Gaby Paz.

The leadership is confident that having high-level facilities for training will contribute to achieving good results.

“One of the pillars of our Orlegi management model is infrastructure, something we did not have at Atlas. While it is true that we trained in different locations, it did not allow us to integrate all the culture and Orlegi genes into all our players. Undoubtedly, an investment like this will help make that management model even more successful and will leave us with no excuses for not having a competitive Atlas,” explained club president José Riestra, although no completion date was confirmed.

“There are three fundamental pillars in our management model: processes, structure, and very importantly, infrastructure. Today, this project that has allowed us to be able to tour and see how it is progressing step by step, fills us with great joy knowing that Atlas is going to have that pillar that we were missing to have a team that is sustainable, has sporting success and has a forward-looking management, with a very promising future,” concluded the leader.
