Where could Tyler Adams play next season if Leeds United are relegated?
The American midfielder could leave Elland Road.
With Leeds United struggling to stay in the Premier League, USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams could end up leaving the Elland Road outfit in the summer.
According to PianetaMilan, AC Milan are closely monitoring the 24-year-old. Milan want to sign a central midfielder in the summer transfer window and have identified Adams as an option.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara like Adams, who is the captain of the US national team and has been one of Leeds’ top performers in what has been a difficult season.
Leeds’ situation
After losing 4-1 to Bournemouth on Sunday, Leeds are 16th in the Premier League with 30 points, just one point above the relegation zone.
The Yorkshire club are in serious trouble and dropping to the Championship would result in numerous departures this summer.
Adams has made 26 appearances for Leeds United but is currently out through injury and may not return to action in 2022/23.
Leeds have four games to ensure Premier League safety, which could of course see Adams stay in England despite the reported interest from Italy. At the time of writing, Southampton, Everton and Leicester City are in the Premier League’s relegation zone.
