Where will the Concacaf Copa América 2024 play-off games be played?

Concacaf has announced the official venue and date for the two play-off games that will award the last two places in next year’s Copa América.

After confirming the Concacaf Nations League semi-final matches and the four teams that will battle for the last two places at the Copa América, the North American Confederation has announced the venue where Costa Rica, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago and Canada will play in order to reach the Conmebol competition to be played in the United States next summer.

In a statement, Concacaf revealed that the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, will be the venue for the two Copa América play-off matches, confirming the clashes between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago, as well as Costa Rica and Honduras.

The play-off matches were defined by the Concacaf rankings for the month of November, with Canada being the highest-ranked team, followed by Costa Rica, Honduras and finally Trinidad and Tobago.

When will the Concacaf play-offs for the 2024 Copa América be played?

Concacaf confirmed that both Copa América play-off matches will be played on Saturday 23 March, however, the times have not yet been confirmed for the two play-off matches.

Likewise, the region’s governing body confirmed that the two winners of the play-off matches will be the ones to qualify for the Copa América. It is worth noting that by then, the four teams will know their fate, as the Copa América draw will be held on 7 December in Miami and will define the groups despite the fact that the last two teams to be invited are yet to be decided.
