LaLiga has attracted some talent this summer. Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Antonio Rüdiger are among the names who made the move to Spain during the off-season. Here we take a look at three players who played in Spain last season and currently have the highest market value in LaLiga.

Vinicius

Last season saw Vinicius Jr show his true potential, being a key player for Los Blancos as Carlo Ancelotti’s men won LaLiga and the Champions League.

Vinicius was the best performer in LaLiga 2021-22 alongside Karim Benzema. In 33 league games, the 22-year-old scored 14 goals and registered nine assists, while putting in some devastating displays in attack.

Amongst players in Europe’s top-five leagues last season, he ranked in the 99th percentile per 90 for progressive carries (12.95) and touches in the attacking penalty area (8.70).

Pedri

Pedri spent some time on the sidelines through injury last season, but when he played for Barcelona he was seriously impressive. The Canary Islander may have only featured 12 times in the league, but he was decisive in his time on the pitch, arguably the best performing player in the league.

With Pedri in the engine room, the Blaugrana picked up an average of 2.67 points per game in LaLiga. He was key in their wins over title challengers Sevilla and Real Madrid. Barcelona returned to action on Saturday, drawing 0-0 at home to Rayo Vallecano. Pedri went close to giving his side the three points but his effort from the edge of the box flew just wide of the post. The Spain international is expected to have an even greater impact on Xavi’s side this season.

Market value: €80m

João Félix

João Félix’s €127 million price tag hasn’t helped him at Atlético Madrid, but after a difficult start to life in the Spanish capital, the Portuguese forward has become the key man in attack for Diego Simeone.

In 24 LaLiga appearances last season, he scored eight times and registered four assists. At times, he was unplayable for Los Colchoneros, both domestically and in Europe.

Market value: €70m
