Which teams could Keylor Navas play for next season?

The future of Keylor Navas with Paris Saint-Germain is up in the air and several clubs are keen on signing the veteran goalkeeper during the transfer window.

Keylor Navas helped the Costa Rica national team secure the last spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup with their victory over New Zealand last month. This will be the 35-year-old’s last tournament with Los Ticos after he confirmed that he will retire from international duty.

Navas’ club future is up in the air

The Costa Rica international is in search of more minutes to be in top shape for the World Cup and he is aware that Paris Saint-Germain will not be alternating goalkeepers under new manager Christophe Galtier. The French manager will most likely choose Gianluigi Donnarumma for the starting job throughout the 2022/23 campaign so Keylor Navas is looking for a way out during the transfer window.

Navas is under contract with PSG until 2024 but the Ligue 1 side is willing to accept any offer to let him go this summer. The top-tier teams that could afford and guarantee minutes for the 35-year-old are Napoli, Juventus and Sevilla as they will all be competing to win their respective league titles and they will be participating in the UEFA Champions League.

The Serie A side seems to be the best destination for Keylor Navas because David Ospina left during the summer transfer window to play with Al-Nassr. Now Napoli is looking for his replacement and Navas seems to be the right man for the job.
