As the UCL’s knockout-phase playoffs come to their conclusion this week, we take a look at which teams have booked their last-16 spot.


Atlético Madrid have become the first team to progress from this season’s Champions League knockout-phase playoffs, completing a 7-4 aggregate win over Club Brugge to join the lineup for the round of 16.
In today’s early kickoff, Atlético thumped Brugge 4-1 in the return leg in Madrid, six days after the teams had drawn a six-goal thriller in the first leg in Belgium.
