Cabello to perform medley shortly before kick-off

Cabello, 25, is to sing a five-minute medley featuring her hits and tracks from her third studio album, Familia, which was released this year.

“I’m so excited to be taking to the stage at the Champions League final,” the singer said. “I intend on putting on a really special show, bringing together the spirit of my Latin heritage and a feeling of togetherness for sports and music fans all over the world - I can’t wait!”

Cabello’s set is scheduled to begin at 8:30pm local time (2:30pm ET), half an hour before the match kicks off.

Began in girl group Fifth Harmony, before going solo

Born in the Cuban capital of Havana, Cabello moved to Miami, Florida, at the age of six and has been an American citizen since 2008.

Before going solo in 2016, she was a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which went on to enjoy huge success after finishing third in the US version of the television music contest X-Factor.

Since she left Fifth Harmony, she has released three albums - Camila in 2018, Romance in 2019 and Familia in 2022. Her first two discs both include singles that topped charts worldwide (“Havana” and “Señorita”, respectively).

In addition to receiving three Grammy nominations, Cabello has amassed nearly 100 awards. These include two Billboard Music Awards: for Chart Achievement in 2018, and a Top Collaboration gong in 2020 for “Señorita”, which she recorded with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes.

She has also picked up two Latin Grammys, winning Record of the Year and Best Pop Song in 2019 for her collaboration with Alejandro Sanz on the song “Mi Persona Favorita”.
