Who is Jobe Bellingham? Jude Bellingham’s brother attracting interest from Premier League
The 18-year-old midfielder signed for Championship side Sunderland in the summer.
Jude Bellingham was not the only member of his family to move on during the summer transfer window. While the elder of the Bellingham brothers, just 20 years old, joined Real Madrid, his younger brother Jobe also took a step forward in his playing career. Sunderland paid around €2million ($2.2m) for the then Birmingham City player, the team from which the current Madrid star also left.
Tottenham interest in Bellingham
With three goals and one assist in 16 Championship games this season, Jobe Bellingham has been one of the standout players for the Black Cats, who are challenging for the playoffs spots for promotion to the Premier League. As a result, according to Football Insider, Bellingham is attracting interest from a number of suitors, with Tottenham “keeping a close eye on Jobe Bellingham”.
Spurs are believed to have been tracking the 18-year-old England Under-19 international all year. The report adds that the London outfit will not be alone in the race for his signature, with other Premier League clubs, as well as Bundesliga sides interested.
