Bolivia must win and hope that Uruguay defeats the United States by at least a seven-goal difference to advance. However, this seems unlikely as Bolivia has faced a 13-match losing streak in Copa América group fixtures since 2015. Additionally, they have struggled to score goals, remaining goalless in six Copa América group contests during their current losing streak.

If Bolivia fails to score in the upcoming match, it will be the first time since the 2001 Copa América that they have concluded the group phase without scoring a goal. Furthermore, Bolivia has not defeated a CONCACAF opponent since their 5-0 win against Trinidad and Tobago in a 2022 friendly, having lost three consecutive matches against teams from that region.
