Wrexham AFC are set to return to the EFL after 15 years and the club owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will have a new stadium name as they prepare for their season in League Two.

STōK Cold Brew - an American coffee company - have agreed to sponsor the club, which will see the ground change its name from the Racecourse Ground to the STōK Racecourse.

“We’re incredibly excited and a little over-caffeinated,” McElhenney and Reynolds said in a statement.

The club have also announced Betty Buzz - a beverage brand founded and owned by Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively - as the new training kit sponsor for the 2023-24 season.

First sponsor for Wrexham’s Racecourse

Built in 1864, Wrexham’s ground is the oldest international football stadium that still hosts international games and the deal means the ground will have a title sponsor for the first time. Wales played its first international match in the stadium in 1877.

A new 5,000-seat stand is also being built to raise the capacity of the stadium to 15,000 as the club has enjoyed a significant boost in global support due to its new owners.
