Everything is ready for Inter Miami’s debut in MLS 2024, a campaign in which the club led by Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino dream of the title. To do so, they must put out a season-long string of class, which is still far from being a reality, but there is full confidence from the side that they can indeed achieve their goals.

Prior to this Wednesday’s duel against Real Salt Lake (Feb 21, 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT.), the owner of Inter Miami, Jorge Mas, organised a press conference in which he announced the club’s new partnership with JP Morgan Chase.

As a result of this agreement, the name DRV PNK Stadium will no longer be used and the sporting venue will be renamed Chase Stadium, which will open its doors under its new name this Wednesday in the opening match of the 2024 MLS season.

What is Chase?

The brand name Chase comes from JP Morgan Chase & Co., an American multinational finance corporation based in New York. The Herons’ stadium will now bear the name of the name Chase, and DRV PNK will be dropped.

It has always been a dream to take an amazing global brand like JP Morgan Chase, partner with them, and all over the world when they mention Inter Miami and Lionel Messi, that it be at Chase Stadium. So today this announcement is a milestone for us, the beginning of a long-term relationship with them... Chase Stadium is going to be personified with Inter Miami for many years,” explained Jorge Mas in the presentation.

With the name change from DRV PNK Stadium to Chase Stadium, Jorge Mas stressed Inter Miami’s desire to win new titles this season in front of its fans, hoping that this alliance will accompany all the successes expected at the club.

“Today is an announcement, today is the beginning of a journey, today is the beginning of writing new chapters... the eyes of the world are going to be on America and South Florida. Our team motto is ‘Freedom to Dream,’ and our dream is to lift many trophies here at Chase Stadium in upcoming years,” Jorge Mas concluded.
