Will Bukayo Saka play for Arsenal against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday?
Saka has nine goal involvements for the Gunners in nine Premier League and Champions League appearances this season.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has discussed several topics ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with fellow title contenders Manchester City.
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka was taken off in the first half of Arsenal’s Champions League defeat to Ligue 1 club Lens in midweek with what appeared to be a muscle issue.
Arteta on Saka
“He’s in contention. Let’s see how he progresses from here to Sunday,” former City coach Arteta said when asked about Saka in a press conference on Friday.
“He had to leave the pitch and that’s never good news, let’s see how he recovers.”
The Arsenal head coach was then asked for more information on Saka but remained tight-lipped.
He added: “In contention, that’s it! I’m not a doctor, that’s what they’ve told me!”

City ahead of Arsenal
Pep Guardiola’s men lead the way in the Premier League with 18 points from their opening seven games but suffered a shock away defeat to Wolves last time out. Arsenal are a point and two places behind the reigning league champions.
