A double header against Jamaica will be Mauricio Pochettino’s next test as US boss as they face the Caribbean side in the CONCACAF Nations League. This Sunday, coach Pochettino offered his squad list as USMNT with some new additions as the Argentine also plots ahead for the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted between Mexico, Canada and the USA.

The roster features the return of some of the USMNT’s key players, including midfielder Weston McKennie and forward Timothy Weah, who were not present for the Argentine’s debut.

After missing the duel in Guadalajara against Mexico, Christian Pulisic also appears on the list as the key player for the team from the country of the Stars and Stripes.

Pochettino presented a list with an average age of 25 years and 13 days and the Argentine stated: ”We are looking for the best balance not only for now, but also for the 2026 World Cup. We won’t have many camps to observe players, so it’s a great opportunity to be able to look at footballers, because we know that we have to be competitive and we want our fans to be proud of this team,” said the Argentine in a press conference on Sunday.
