The Women’s Champions League continues to make history as all the eight participating teams in the competition will open their main stadium’s for next week’s quarter-final games with: Barcelona, Roma, Chelsea, Olympique Lyon, Wolfsburg, Bayern, PSG and Arsenal set to play in the stadium where the men’s team normally plays.

The Olímpico in Rome will be the only of the eight grounds to make its debut with a women’s football game as the Italian side face Barcelona Femeni (21 March) in the first leg of the quarters with Alessandro Spugna’s team making their debut in the WCL. Barcelona will open Camp Nou for the return leg with the uphill task of surpassing the 91,648 fans that packed into the iconic ground last year.

The first leg of Olympique Lyon-Chelsea will be played at the French OL Stadium with the return leg set for Stamford Bridge. North of the Thames, the Emirates Stadium will also open its doors as Arsenal face Bayern Munich with the German side confirming that the second leg will go ahead at the Allianz Arena.

PSG will reopen the Parc des Princes, as is customary for high profile games as Wolfsburg were the last club to confirm that they would play the return match at the Wolfsburg Arena.

A potential total of 485,890 spectators could watch the historical Champions League quarter finals across the eight stadiums where all games will be played.
