First images of 2026 World Cup final ball released
The Adidas Trionda ball has already been confirmed by FIFA but new images show a gold and black version specifically for the showpiece final.

With less than six months to go until the 2026 World Cup kicks off, FIFA continues to roll out new details about its biggest tournament yet.
Fans already know the logo, host cities, schedule, groups, mascots and the official match ball, and now attention is turning to a very specific piece of hardware: the ball that will be used in the World Cup final.
After unveiling the Trionda earlier this year as the official match ball for the tournament, the first images and details of the ball set to be used in the July 19 final at MetLife Stadium have now surfaced.

Staying true to an Adidas tradition that dates back to the 2006 World Cup in Germany, gold once again plays a central role. Since then, the brand has used gold accents to distinguish the ball used in the final and the 2026 edition will be no different. The color choice is meant to symbolize the ultimate prize and mark the conclusion of the first World Cup hosted by three countries.
According to Footy Headlines, the final’s ball will feature a clean, elegant design dominated by white, black and gold tones. As with the standard Trionda, the ball also includes subtle design elements that reference the host nations, the United States, Mexico and Canada.
While FIFA and Adidas have not officially confirmed all the details, the leaked images suggest this is very close to the final version. An official reveal is expected closer to the end of the tournament, likely in July, just ahead of the championship match.
With the final ball now coming into focus, anticipation continues to build for a World Cup that promises to be the biggest and most ambitious in soccer history.
