Update:

The Netherlands have arrived at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a squad full of talent, experience, and rising stars, but behind many of those players are the partners who have supported them every step of the way. From childhood sweethearts and longtime wives to influencers and entrepreneurs making names of their own, the Dutch WAGs (wives and girlfriends) bring a mix of loyalty, privacy, and star power to the global stage.

As Oranje chase World Cup glory, these relationships offer a glimpse into the personal lives of the players, highlighting the families, love stories, and support systems that exist beyond the field. Here’s a closer look at the wives and girlfriends of the Netherlands national team in 2026.

WAGs of the Netherlands national team

Frenkie de Jong and Mikky Kiemeney

One of the longest-running relationships in the Dutch squad, Frenkie de Jong and Mikky Kiemeney have been together since their teenage years at school in Tilburg. She’s been there for every step, from Willem II to Ajax to Barcelona, and their relationship has grown alongside his career.

They got engaged in 2022 during a trip to Utah and married in 2024, and now have two sons (born in 2023 and 2025). Mikky is a former field hockey player turned fashion entrepreneur.

Virgil van Dijk and Rike Nooitgedagt

Virgil van Dijk’s wife, Rike Nooitgedagt, is famously private, but she’s been a constant throughout his rise from Groningen to Liverpool superstardom. The couple met when they were teenagers and married in 2017. They now have four children together, with their family life kept largely out of the spotlight.

Before fully stepping away from the public sphere, Rike worked as a sales manager, and she’s often described as Van Dijk’s grounding presence behind the scenes, a low-key contrast to his global fame.

Cody Gakpo and Noa van der Bij

Cody Gakpo’s has been dating Noa van der Bij publicly since 2020. The Dutch model previously worked as a junior booker for Cachet Models and moved to the UK with Gakpo in 2023 when he transferred to Liverpool.

The couple welcomed their first child in 2024 and second just last month, in May 2026. Van der Bij is a constant presence at Gakpo’s matches for both the Netherlands and Liverpool.

Donyell Malen and Delisha Malen

Donyell Malen has been with his wife Delisha Malen since his days playing youth soccer. They dated for several years before tying the knot, and have three children together.

Malen graduated from business school in Eindhoven in 2019 and is a qualified makeup artist. She frequently shares updates of their family and life on her Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Ryan Gravenberch and Cindy Peroti

Ryan Gravenberch has been with Cindy Peroti since his Ajax days, with their relationship dating back to around 2017. She has a healthcare background (trained as a nurse) and Dutch-Surinamese roots, and has been a consistent presence as his career moved from Amsterdam to Bayern Munich and now Liverpool.

The couple welcomed a child in 2025 and now live in England. She’s also gained recognition in Dutch media and appeared on “most beautiful WAGs” lists.

Denzel Dumfries and Jaimy Kenswiel

Denzel Dumfries and Jaimy Kenswiel are one of the longest-standing couples in the Netherlands squad, having been together since around 2014, well before his rise to international prominence.

They have two children together and are now engaged. Kenswiel is notably entrepreneurial. She’s worked as a stylist, party planner, and business owner, running ventures from fashion to event services.

Despite Dumfries’ high-energy presence on the field, their off-field life is grounded and family-focused, often split between Italy (where he plays for Inter) and the Netherlands.
