SUPER BOWL LVIII

Andy Reid gives his thoughts on Republican’s Taylor Swift conspiracy theories

Some Republicans decided the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl so that Taylor Swift can tell people to vote for Joe Biden. Coach Reid gives his thoughts.

While most people are sure that Taylor Swift’s sudden presence at NFL games has been a positive thing for the league, others just simply can’t believe the coincidence that the year she starts dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, his team makes it to the Super Bowl. It simply MUST be a plot to sway the vote.

Fox News host Jesse Watters proposed a theory that Swift is a Pentagon asset, used to combat online misinformation and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy posted on social media that she and Kelce are just props to endorse current President Joe Biden for re-election. It’s all just an elaborate scheme by the left wing to keep Democrats in power.

What did Andy Reid say about Taylor Swift conspiracy theory?

It could definitely be insulting to hear that all your hard work to get to the Super Bowl was actually just a jig. But Chiefs coach Andy Reid, ever-classy, just stated his ignorance of the topic in general.

“Hm...that’s way out of my league. Very similar to me speaking German,” said Reid with a laugh. “But listen, I appreciate the question. She’s been great, and we had a nice visit with President Biden. That’s about as far as I can go, last year.”

Of course, the Chiefs got to meet the president after they won the Super Bowl last year, which they won fair and square of course, considering T-Swift was not in the picture. But as she’s shown up just at the right time - election year - the far right are saying it’s all a sham. Reid knew better, brushing by the topic with a laugh and letting it drop quickly. He has more important things to think about.
