Elton John serenaded by Manchester City players at airport
Legendary singer Elton John found himself being serenaded with his own songs by Manchester City players shortly after they won the FA Cup.
The Manchester City players had a lot to celebrate on Saturday. They won the FA Cup, 2-1 over Manchester United, and then they got to meet Elton John. I’m not sure which is more exciting, honestly.
Just after defeating United to keep their hopes at a treble alive, the City players ran into the legendary singer at the airport. In the videos posted by the players, you can see him giving hugs to the players before they serenade him with “Your Song”. They changed out a few lyrics:
“You can tell everybody, we’ve won the FA Cup!”
City has won the Premier League title and now the FA Cup. A Champions League victory would give them the treble. The game will be played this Saturday, June 10 against Inter Milan in Istanbul, Turkey.
