“I’m happy with my wife” - De Bruyne on Haaland bromance
Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne talked about his connection with teammate Erling Haaland when he was asked if it was “love at first sight”.
Manchester City teammates Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland have a special connection that’s benefitting the team in a big way. De Bruyne has scored ten goals and had 31 assists over 48 games in all competitions this season while Haaland has had 52 goals in 48 games.
When De Bruyne was asked if it was “love at first sight” with Haaland, he told reporters, “no, I’m happy with my wife!”
I’m sure Michele Lacroix, De Bruyne’s wife since 2017 and partner since 2014, will be happy to know it’s just a friendship he shares with Haaland. Whatever the connection, it’s working for them on the field.
City has already won the Premier League and the FA Cup. They will now try to make it a treble on the season by winning the Champions League against Inter Milan in Istanbul, Turkey this Saturday.
