Kelce’s “kiss, marry, kill” video Taylor Swift references in “So High School”
Swift’s song “So High School” is clearly about her current beau Travis Kelce, and a line about the game “kiss, marry, kill” came from this 2016 interview.
The most obvious reference to Taylor Swift’s boyfriend on her newest album, “The Tortured Poets Department”, is on the song “So High School”. Travis Kelce, being the Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, knows “how to ball”, one of the references Swift makes in the song. Another obvious clue that this song is about Kelce is the mention of the game, “Kiss, Marry, Kill”. Back in 2016, Kelce was asked in an interview to play the game in which he has to choose among three people which one he’d kiss, marry, and kill. Given the options of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Katy Perry, Kelce at least chose not to kill Swift. He opted instead to kill Ariana Grande, kiss Taylor Swift, and marry Katy Perry.
In the song, Swift sings, “Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me?It’s just a game, but really, I’m bettin’ on all three for us two.”
