Pat Beverley throws ball at fan, refuses to speak to reporter not subscribed to his podcast

After Bucks’ Patrick Beverley repeatedly threw a ball at a fan, he then told a reporter he wouldn’t speak to her because she’s not “subscribed to his pod”.

The Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs on Thursday after their Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers. The 120-98 loss was an ugly one, made uglier by Bucks guard Patrick Beverly, whose lack of class was on full display during and after the game.

During the final minutes of the game, Beverly took a basketball and threw it at a Pacers fan’s head. He then asked for the ball from another fan who tossed it to him, only for Beverly to then chuck it back at him hard.

He continued to mess with the fans before his teammates, coaches, and security dealt with the situation. Somehow he was not ejected from the game, but he didn’t come back to play again and will most certainly be punished by the league soon.

After the game, it seems Beverly was still in a saucy mood. An ESPN reporter asked him a question and he replied with, “you subscribed to my pod?” When she told him she did not subscribe to his podcast, Beverly refused to speak to her. “You can’t interview me then.” He decided it was fine to speak to a different reporter who is subscribed to his podcast but asked the other woman to “get the mic out of my face, please” and then asked her to leave if she’s not subscribed to his podcast.

Truly, the level of entitlement is perplexing.
