Spain fans drown out Egypt’s national anthem with whistles in Cornellá
A good number of the Spain-Egypt crowd let out this shameful chant from the stands around the 20th minute of the game.

The image of Spain fans whistling Egypt’s national anthem soured this evening’s friendly in Cornellá. As both teams lined up before kick off, whistling from the stands started as the visitors’ national anthem was played. Surprising considered this is only a friendly game, with nothing at stake for either side.
Then, after around 20 minutes, fans could be heard chanting: “Anyone who doesn’t jump is a Muslim”. During his commentary, AS in-house referee Eduardo Iturralde slammed the crowd’s disgraceful behavior and said the game should have been halted to quiet things down.
