VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS
The stunning video that shows 3 hours of Popocatépetl eruption activity in 30 seconds
Webcams de México picked up the footage of the intense volcanic activity coming from the Smoking Mountain.
MÉXICO
Mexican volcano Popocatépetl has the country in suspense as it continues to erupt, with the various monitoring systems such as UNAM, SkyAlert and CENAPRED keeping an eye on the volcano 24 hours a day and updating the population about the risks.
For its part, Webcams de México shared a video showing the intense volcanic activity of Popocatépetl from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. this Monday, May 22.
The amazing images clearly show the constant tremors and the emission of ash that has caused the suspension of classes in Puebla as well as the cancellation of flights at the AICM. This timelapse reduces three hours of volcanic activity into a 30-second video.
