The state of New York was ranked number one for worst air quality in the world this afternoon with an Air Quality Index of above 350. This is due to the smoke coming in from the wildfires in Canada, which have turned the state orange. Because the air quality has reached hazardous levels, MLB and other sports have been forced to cancel games and practices in New York and Philadelphia. You can track the smoke from the wildfires in real time.
