Thunder fan gets warning after exchange with Mavs’ Kyrie Irving

An OKC Thunder superfan got into an exchange with Dallas Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving and was let off with a warning. He told his side of the story on X.

Oklahoma City Thunder superfan Juan Guerra II was given a warning by the NBA after he got into a little exchange with Dallas Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving during their Game 1 Western Conference semifinals match.

Guerra attends every single Thunder home game, but was almost ejected from this one within minutes after he was given the notice by the league. He took to X to post pictures of the notices, including a red card warning.

He also posted a video explaining what happened. In it, he says a basketball was thrown at him so he tossed it back to referee Tony Brothers. He then says that Irving threw the ball back at him “like he was bowling” and then came up to him and asked him “what the f*** are you thinking?”

“I simply told him I was giving the ball back to Taylor,” Guerra explained. “And he said it again and I was like, ‘it’s too early in the game to be this soft’. And that was the end of that.”
