VIDEO: Jamal Murray practicing with hand wrap ahead of Game 4
Denver Nuggets’ Jamal Murray suffered a nasty floor burn in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat. What’s his status heading into Game 4?
During Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat, Nuggets’ Jamal Murray suffered a nasty floor burn on his hand. Not only did he play through the pain, but he and Nikola Jokic became the first duo to put up 30 points and 10 assists in the same NBA game. The duo went on to lead Denver to a 109-94 victory over the Heat.
Murray showed off a photo of the nasty burn on social media which shows a huge chunk of skin missing on his palm. It shouldn’t impact his game too much when the Nuggets take on the Heat for Game 4 tonight. Considering he was able to put up 34 points in 45 minutes last time, he should be all right. He was seen practicing with a hand wrap ahead of the game and apparently he’s pretty used to playing through pain:
