Video: Man nearly falls 800 feet off a cliff for prank video at Bryce Canyon

A video has resurfaced of a man attempting to pull off a reckless prank at Brice Canyon National Park and narrowly avoiding an 800-foot fall to his death.

It will never stop being shocking that people will risk their lives just for a video or social media post and yet, it shouldn’t be surprising at this point. Take this man for example, who nearly plunged 800 feet to his death at Bryce Canyon National Park just to pull off some kind of prank.

This video from August 2022 has resurfaced. It shows a man running and jumping over the safety rails at Bryce Canyon, landing on his feet, but then slipping and falling, sliding towards the edge of the cliff. The woman filming the whole thing can be heard screaming as the man gets closer to the edge of the cliff with an 800-foot drop-off.

A park spokesman said at the time that no serious injuries occurred, but warned of the dangers of pulling stunts like that.
