Video: Man stabbed during brawl at Mexico vs Qatar game
A man was critically injured after being stabbed during a massive brawl at Levi’s Stadium during the CONCACAF Gold Cup game on Sunday.
A massive brawl broke out during the CONCACAF Gold Cup game between Mexico and Qatar on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium in California. Witnesses said there were several fights, but that this one was the worst. They voiced concerns over the lack of care shown by security, wondering how a knife made it into the stadium at all.
One man was found with a stab wound near his collar bone and was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Police have identified a suspect and person of interest and are asking the public for help identifying them.
Levi’s Stadium and CONCACAF released a joint statement saying that the “safety of our guests is our highest priority” and that they are fully cooperating with law enforcement.
