RUNNING OF THE BULLS
Video: Running of the bulls day four | 10 new injuries as bulls plow through Pamplona
The runners are getting the hang of dodging the bulls plowing through the streets of Pamplona as day four of the running of the bulls continued on Monday.
The running of the bulls in Pamplona, the capital of Navarre province, for the festival popularized in the English speaking world by Ernest Hemingway in his book The Sun Also Rises, continued with its fourth day on Monday with much fewer runners than the weekend produced.
There were 10 incidents of injuries and six requests for transfers to the hospital, five for bruises and one for head trauma. Despite the number of injuries, no one was injured by a bull horn on day four. The race was quick, lasting a total of two minutes and 21 seconds, faster than all three previous days.
