A video has gone completely viral of some Lamas, Tibetan Buddhist monks, playing basketball at the Gonba Temple in China. It’s not just that they are monks playing basketball - but they are monks playing basketball at a very high level!
These monks look like they could have the potential to play professionally, making passes that mirror the likes of Finals MVP Nikola Jokić, crossover dribbles, and fadeaway jumpers that put your typical pickup basketball game to shame.
