WATCH: Cheerleader kicks HS basketball player in the head

Before a high school basketball game in Oregon, cheerleaders were doing flips while the players were introduced when one got kicked in the head and fell.

The Barlow High School basketball team was being introduced ahead of their OSAA state tournament game against Jesuit last week when a cheerleader from Barlow accidentally kicked a player in the head. As the players were jogging onto the court before the game, the cheerleaders were standing around them and occasionally doing flips. Just as one cheerleader was landing her flip, her foot caught Barlow player Sentori Martino right in the head and knocked him down to the floor. Martino lay on the court for several minutes and sat out the game, which Barlow went on to win 69-39.
