Watch: flying car company boss commutes to work in space age vehicle
Have you ever wished to fly to work to avoid traffic? Tomasz Patan has a solution with his futuristic flying car for the price of $83,000.
Flying cars seem to have always been the symbol of the future, except now they’re finally here. The Alef electric flying car will be the first to ever receive government approval to actually become available to the public.
Meanwhile, last summer, Tomasz Patan made the first-ever commute to work in a flying car. Patan is the co-founder of a Swedish company called Jetson, which created the Jetson One, an $83k flying car with eight electric motors. He flew it from his home in Italy to a Jetson building in Tuscany.
“Our long-term goal is to democratize flight,” said Patan. “We firmly believe the ‘eVTOL’ is the future for mass transportation. We are committed to making this a reality.”
