After a hot week, a cold front is headed for Texas. Find out when it will arrive, which areas will be affected and the temperature forecast.

Estados UnidosUpdate:
Cold front to hit Texas this weekend

After reaching its highest level so far this year, temperatures in Texas will drop considerably as a cold front approaches the state. According to various weather forecasts, the fall in temperatures will cause intense rains and storms in certain regions of the country.

When will the cold front arrive? Affected areas and temperatures

Texas residents will have a respite from the heat wave starting this Thursday night, April 18. According to CBS News meteorologists, the cold front is expected to enter the north of the state around 9:00 p.m. (local time), which could reduce temperatures by more than 30 degrees, fluctuating in the 40s, and cause heavy rains in the area.

For Friday, cloudy skies with cool weather are expected for most of the day, so the chances of rain are low. However, these probabilities will increase significantly between Friday night and Saturday. For the same April 20, the total rainfall will be significant, however, widespread flooding is not expected.
