Paul Reidy

Born in Ireland, Paul grew up in Co. Donegal and was scouted by Scotland's Partick Thistle at the age of ten. Being overlooked by the Glasgow side failed to dampen a love for the beautiful game which was harvested along with a passion for music. The music industry came knocking and Paul spent several years with Universal Music, initially in London before an internal move to Madrid working as head of the Strategic Marketing Department and becoming a Rayo Vallecano season ticket holder. The transition from music to sport was seamless in 2016 joining Diario AS. Paul's main interest focuses on global soccer and is particularly interested in the governance and business side of the game. He also confesses to having a weakness for accumulating soccer jerseys (old and new).
