Born in Serbia but spent early childhood in Macedonia (formerly Yugoslavia) and later moved to Belgrade during adolescence. Father was a passionate amateur tennis player, hence, grew up surrounded by sports and with a keen interest in following club and international teams, as well as Olympic and traditional sports. Initially, played tennis but later switched to water polo before discovering his true passion for rowing, which have pursued ever since. Still, actively compete as a club-level competitor for Madrid Velocidad and Boulogne 92 (Paris). In addition to rowing, avid cyclist, swimmer, snowboarder, and other outdoor activities aficionado. Began professional career as a live broadcast commentator and journalist at Eurosport Serbia. While there, managed to complete a Master's in Digital Journalism and Media at Universidad Europea de Madrid and later worked in the Communication department of Eurosport International in Paris, France. Since 2016, worked at several sports media outlets, including the Olympic Channel, DAZN, TVE, and, most recently, as a journalist for the Diario AS English team. Great interest in NBA basketball and other US professional sports. Passionate about writing on subjects of great moments in sports and exploring their sociological and any other impact on the world—also a big fan of cycling, triathlon, and all-summer and winter endurance sports. As a true Spanish "yerno," loves being immersed in the local culture, simplicity of life, and friendships, with the incredible food all around.
